How to import a calendar into Structured

Learn how to add a calendar into Structured

This is a premium feature which requires Structured Pro

Structured can sync with all calendars compatible with your default Apple Calendar, including Google calendar, Outlook etc. All imported events from the selected calendars will appear in your Structured timeline.

Add your calendar to your device first

Unless you've already done that anyway, you'll need to add your calendar in the Settings app first. How exactly this works, you can read here.

Sync your calendar with Structured

Once the calendar is added in the Settings app, open the in-app Settings, by tapping the ⚙️ in the top-right corner, and then select the Calendars entry.

Firstly, tap Allow Access so Structured is allowed to access the calendars on your device. Now you can select all the calendars you want to import into Structured. From those calendars, all events will automatically appear in your timeline.

Tap "Allow Access" and then "Allow" in the popup.

Your calendar is not listed

If your calendar is not showing up in the list, you must have forgotten to add the calendar to your device. To do so, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Settings app
  1. Scroll down, tap Calendars and then Accounts
  1. Tap Add Account, select your provider, and enter your credentials

Now, your calendar should show up in Structured.

By default, some shared Google calendar are not synced with apps. How to share a Google calendar, you can read here.

Please note, that some business accounts are not available in apps and therefore cannot be imported into Structured.
