How to Import Your Calendars into Structured

This feature is not available on Android yet 🤖

You can import events from every calendar app that is compatible with the Apple Calendar (eg. Google calendar, Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, yahoo!, Aol) into Structured. The imported events will then be displayed as tasks in your Structured timeline and can be checked off, just as your other tasks.

Please note that these are premium features that require Structured Pro, currently also only available on iOS.

Add a calendar to your device

To import your calendar events into Structured, your calendar must first be added to the device you are using Structured on. If you are using the Apple Calendar or have already added a calendar to that device, you can skip these steps and continue with the next section.

If the calendar events you want to import into Structured are not displayed in the Apple Calendar on your device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the ⚙️ Settings app on your device

  2. Scroll down, tap Calendar and then Accounts

  3. Tap Add Account, select your provider, and enter your credentials

Now, your calendar is ready to be imported into Structured.

Import your calendar

To import the events of your device's calendar, go to the ⚙️ Structured Settings, and select Calendars. Here, you need to tap on Allow Access. You will be sent to your device's settings, where you can allow Full Access to your calendar for Structured.

Please note that Add Events Only permissions are not enough, and you will need to allow Full Access for Structured to sync your events.

Now you can select the calendars you want to be imported into Structured. All events of the selected calendars will automatically appear in your timeline and be updated regularly, the colours of the calendar will be taken from your original calendar

Please be aware that syncing back to your calendar is not possible yet. Meaning that you will not be able to export tasks you have created in Structured into your device's calendar.

Some calendar apps, although compatible with Structured, have certain restrictions when they are being imported.

Google: As a default, some shared Google calendars are not synced with apps. Read here: Calendar still doesn’t show up in Structured Settings.

Microsoft Exchange: It is recommended that Microsoft Exchange calendars are only enabled on one device at a time.

Business accounts: Please note that some business accounts are not available in apps and therefore cannot be imported into Structured.

Please note that these are premium features that require ⭐️ Structured Pro.
