Sharing diagnostic data for support

Help resolve issues faster when contacting us

If something is wrong with your app, it can sometimes be helpful to share the diagnostics data with me.

Since I don’t collect any personalized data on you and don’t have access to your tasks, this is the only options to see what’s going on.

How to share diagnostic data?

Firstly, open the in-app Settings, by tapping the ⚙️ in the top-right corner, and then select the Help & Feedback entry.

Once you are there, you’ll simply have to tap the Share Diagnostic Data button, which will let you share the data via email with me.

When to share diagnostic data?

If you have problems with your tasks (duplicating, missing data) or trouble with the pro plan, it’s always good to share the data as it might help discover the problem.

What’s being shared?

The diagnostic data will include a copy of your data, but don’t worry, the names of tasks are encrypted in a way that I won’t know what they mean.

Additionally, your random user identifier is shared, which will allow me to check your payment status.

Lastly, some logs of notifications, iCloud and what settings you have enabled will be included.

I will just use this data to try to solve your problem 🤞
