How to Import your to do list into Structured

Learn how to add reminder to do’s to your Structured inbox

This is a premium feature which requires Structured Pro

Structured can sync with to do’s from the Apple Reminder app. Imported to do’s will appear as normal tasks in your inbox or in your schedule.

Structured can work with your iCloud or with the accounts, you have added in the Settings app (to use them in Calendar or Mail). Structured works with for example, Outlook to do’s etc. Google Task Board is unfortunately not compatible

Sync your to do list with Structured

Firstly, open the in-app Settings, by tapping the ⚙️ in the top-right corner, and then select the Reminders entry.

There you'll first have to Allow Access to reminders (maybe you already have) and will then be able to select all reminder lists, which you want to import into Structured. From those lists, all uncompleted reminders will automatically appear in your inbox or schedule (if they have a date assigned).

Firstly, tap Allow Access so Structured is allowed to access the reminder on your device. Now, you can select the to do list you want to import into Structured. From those to do lists, all to do’s will automatically appear in your inbox or schedule (if they have a date assigned).

Tap "Allow Access" and then "Allow" in the popup.

Your Account is not listed

If your to do list is not showing, you might need to set up the account in the Settings app first. To do so, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Settings app
  1. Scroll down, tap Reminders and then Accounts
  1. Tap Add Account, select your provider, and enter your credentials

Make sure that Reminders is enabled for the account.

Now check back in Structured if your account appears in the list.

Please note, that some accounts don’t work with Apple Reminders (e.g. Google Tasks), which will also mean that they don’t work with Structured. Also, some business accounts don’t allow access from third-party apps, which means that they can’t be imported into Structured.
