How to Check If Your App / Device is Up-to-Date

If you encounter an issue with Structured, in most cases it is due to an outdated operating system or Structured version. Following, you will learn how to check whether your device and Structured app are up to date.


Apple


Check App Version & Operating Version in Structured

On Apple devices, you can quickly check if your Structured app and operating system are up to date in your Structured settings:

  1. Open ⚙️ Structured Settings.

  2. Head over to Help & Feedback.

  3. Check whether the icon is a green check mark or a red x. In the former case, your app / operating system is up to date. In the latter case, your app / operating system is outdated.

  4. To update your app / operating system to the latest version, just tap the arrow next to the version number, and it will take you to the App Store or your ⚙️ System Settings, respectively, to update.


How to Update Your Structured App

To update your Structured App on Apple devices:

  1. Head over to the App Store and search for Structured.

  2. Check whether the big blue button says Open or Update. In the latter case, tap on Update.

In the App Store, you will always see which version is the most recent version in the What's New section.


How to Update Your Operating System

To update your operating system on Apple devices:

  1. Open your general Settings app.

  2. Head over to General and tap on Software Update.

  3. Here you will see whether there is a software update available, and if not, which operating system version you are on.

  4. If an update is available, select Update Now.

💡 Enable Automatic Updates in your general Settings app to ensure you're always up to date.


Android


How to Check / Update Your Structured App Version

To check, if your Structured App on Android is up to date:

  1. Head over to the Google Play Store and search for Structured.

  2. Check whether the big blue button says Open or Update. In the latter case, tap on Update.

In the Google Play Store, you will always see which version is the most recent version in the What's new section. You can also check which version is installed when going into your ⚙️ Structured Settings and scrolling all the way down.


How to Check / Update Your Operating System

To check whether your operating system on your Android device is up to date:

  1. Open your general Settings app.

  2. Scroll all the way down and tap on Software update.

  3. Here you will see whether there is a software update available.

  4. If an update is available, select Update Now.

To check which operating system you are on, tap on About phone in the general Settings app. Head over to Software information to check your Android version.
